I’m considering creating a podcast and toward that end, I’ve found a podcast script template and I’m going to play around with it and see what I can come up with. Worst case scenario, Ill end up with an article. Best case, you’ll get to hear me talking about something related to nuke operas.

Worldbuilding Wednesday: Day 2
Ok, technically it’s been more than 2 days since I started working on my big Universe-46534 comprehensive timeline project but this is the second update so, Day 2 it is!
I’ve been working on a timeline using background work I did on Omegas: Cake Walk and now I’m adding bits from Storm Warnings and the as yet still untitled Will Cartwright story that started this whole grand adventure. I’ve added in historical events, both real world and in-universe to help serve as landmarks.
Next phase is to weave in some of my newer ideas and link those to the other events. I’ve seen some places where I can connect things and create a kind of overarching story to use in other stories.
I’m taking a nap at the moment, but might do some more work later today. If not, I’ve got some free time coming up this weekend that’ll be a good time to get the work done.
A Quick Update…
Because I’m gonna go watch something on my phone ’cause my brain is tired. It’s humid here and there are cicadas and one was on the gas pump nozzle when I was pumping gas today and it freaked me the hell out (I’m ok now but…gahhh! It was freaking HUGE and it looked at me and I think it stole my soul. Or part of my soul).
And yes, I know that cicadas are harmless and they don’t bite or pinch or do anything to actually hurt people but bugs in general freak me out something awful. Or at least, can when they hit me wrong. It’s similar to my fear of spiders. I just…gahhhh, it’s like all my ten trillion cells just scream out “ICK!!”
On a happier note, I figured out some worldbuilding stuff and I’m working my way through that. I’ve been listening to a book about Allan Pinkerton’s efforts to protect Lincoln before his first inauguration and about Pinkerton becoming a detective. Also still listening to the book on the Underground Railroad and yet another Eve Dallas book (that’s my car listen).
And I think I’m going to go watch Loki.
Sunday, I’ll be back with the next collection of Pride Fun Facts.
